Kevin and Christen first met in 2005 at Humble High School. Kevin was a year ahead, but they found themselves in the same English class—Kevin sitting just behind Christen. She thought he was funny and charming, though at the time, the timing wasn’t quite right.In 2009, their paths crossed again through their church band. Kevin played the drums, Christen sang, and what began as a friendship slowly and naturally grew into something more.They didn’t rush. They understood that this relationship was bigger than just the two of them—it meant building a family with Christen’s son, Landon. Landon was four when Kevin stepped into the role of “Dad,” and from there, their family continued to grow. Harper Rose was born in 2015, followed by Rylee Belle in 2020.On their wedding day, Kevin and Christen will be celebrating 16 years together. April 16th has become a meaningful marker of their journey—a reminder of the years, the growth, and the life they’ve built side by side. Their relationship is steady, genuine, and shaped by love, faith, and plenty of laughter.This wedding isn’t the beginning of their story. It’s a moment to pause, look back, and honor the foundation they’ve already laid—one built through commitment, patience, and choosing each other every day.They would be honored to have you join them as they celebrate the life and love God has so faithfully given them. Have you ever wondered why I call you Tina and not “Mom”? I think it’s because from the very beginning, you’ve felt more like a best friend. You’ve always been my partner in crime, my sounding board, my safe place. We just clicked — like two puzzle pieces that were always meant to fit. Finding Kevin was the blessing of a lifetime… but finding you? That was the bonus I never saw coming. I didn’t just gain a soulmate — I gained you. And that made everything even more complete. You are the most incredible Nonna, the best advice-giver, the voice of reason, and the heart of so many moments in our lives. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without your wisdom, your support, or your perfectly timed honesty. I know it’s not exactly traditional — but nothing about our story has been. That’s what makes it so special. Will you stand next to me while I marry your son and officially become my mom? As long as you promise to stay my best friend too.

I’m forever in DJ’s debt for picking you. You are irreplaceable. Someone I trust, someone I admire, and someone I love deeply. The way you love my kids — so naturally, so fully — has touched my heart more than I can say. Then to watch you become a mother has been nothing short of inspiring. As if you stepped into a role you were always meant for.
