Kevin and Christen first met in 2005 at Humble High School. Kevin was a year ahead, but they found themselves in the same English class—Kevin sitting just behind Christen. She thought he was funny and charming, though at the time, the timing wasn’t quite right.

In 2009, their paths crossed again through their church band. Kevin played the drums, Christen sang, and what began as a friendship slowly and naturally grew into something more.They didn’t rush. They understood that this relationship was bigger than just the two of them—it meant building a family with Christen’s son, Landon. Landon was four when Kevin stepped into the role of “Dad,” and from there, their family continued to grow. Harper Rose was born in 2015, followed by Rylee Belle in 2020.

On their wedding day, Kevin and Christen will be celebrating 16 years together. April 16th has become a meaningful marker of their journey—a reminder of the years, the growth, and the life they’ve built side by side. Their relationship is steady, genuine, and shaped by love, faith, and plenty of laughter.

This wedding isn’t the beginning of their story.
